New CEO for City Union Bank

City Union Bank Ltd. has appointed its Executive President as the Managing Director and CEO of the bank.

“Dr. N. Kamakodi, the Executive President of City Union Bank Ltd., Kumbakonam, with the approval of the Reserve Bank of India, was appointed as the Managing Director and CEO of the Bank effective from the 1st May 2011,” the company’s release stated.

The bank’s former MD & CEO S.Balasubramanian, who had demitted his office on April 30, 2011 has been appointed as the Non Executive Chairman of the Board.
