Vinita Bali quits Titan board

Vinita Bali has resigned from the board of Titan Company Ltd.

She has been an independent director on the board.

Her resignation will be effective from April 1, said Titan in filing to the stock exchange.

Ms. Bali resigned due to her growing board commitments overseas, it said.

In a separate announcement, Titan said Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDCO), which is a co-promoter, has nominated Shilpa Prabhakar Satish as director on the board of Titan. She is currently the Executive Director of TIDCO.
