Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL), on Tuesday, announced that P. B. Balaji has been appointed Executive Director, Finance & IT and Chief Financial Officers (CFO) of HUL. A statement from the company said that Mr. Balaji would succeed Sridhar Ramamurthy, who had been appointed Senior Vice-President, Finance, for the global markets and would be part of the Global Markets Executive of Unilever based in London. Mr. Balaji is at present Vice-President, Finance, Unilever Americas Supply Chain Company. He joined HUL in May 1993 and prior to moving to Unilever in 2011, he was Vice-President, Finance, for the Home & personal Care Business of HUL.
