RCom repays $500 m ECB loan

Reliance Communications (RCom)has fully repaid another syndicated external commercial borrowing (ECB) loan of $500 million (about Rs.3,100 crore) on the scheduled due date on Friday. Last year, It had made full scheduled repayment of two other syndicated ECB loans, aggregating to $1 billion (about Rs.6,200 crore), and bilateral ECB loans of more than $310 million (about Rs.1,900 crore ), the company said.

With these repayments, the company has now fully liquidated the borrowings from 23 foreign banks and financial institutions, the company added.
