M&M ties up with Snapdeal for pre-bookings of Scorpio

Ahead of the launch of its new generation Scorpio, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has partnered online marketplace Snapdeal for booking the sport utility vehicle (SUV).

“This is an industry first. We wanted to make it convenient for customers to book the new Scorpio and hence tied up with Snapdeal fro, the same,” Vijay Nakra, Sr VP (Sales and Customer Care) at M&M told The Hindu .

Launch on Sept 25 Scorpio has been Mahindra’s one of the highest selling SUVs and the homegrown auto giant is to launch the refreshed version on September 25.

Snapdeal co-founder and COO Rohit Bansal said, “…We are glad to partner with Mahindra and Mahindra to launch four wheelers on Snapdeal.com. We look forward to a long term and mutually beneficial relationship with Mahindra and Mahindra.”

Mr. Nakra said the company would in the next couple of days start a series of per-launch communication, informing consumers that the vehicle can be booking at the showrooms as well as online via Snapdeal.

According to the details made available to users, the new generation Scorpio will be available in six variants.
