JSW Steel on Monday reported almost 47 per cent rise in crude steel production at 9.91 lakh tonnes in July, over the corresponding month of last year.

The company’s crude steel production in July, 2012 was at 6.76 lakh tonnes, the company said in a statement.

“JSW Steel Ltd reports monthly crude steel production of 9.91 lakh tonnes showing a growth of 47 per cent in July’13 at its three manufacturing locations, Vijayanagar, Salem and Dolvi, all together,” it said.
