The new facility provides worldwide support

Information management services firm Iron Mountain, on Wednesday, announced the expansion of its Bangalore-based global in-house delivery centre.

Tasos Tsolakis, Executive Vice President, Iron Mountain Inc, said the company had grown three-folds in the country in the past three years, and that they were keen to ramp up investments and further expand operations here. “India has always been a very important market for Iron Mountain,” he said.

Iron Mountain Services, a fully-owned subsidiary of the Boston-based data storage company Iron Mountain Inc., at present employs 450 skilled software professionals in it facility in Bagmane World Technology Centre here. The global delivery centre here is the only such facility of the company that provides IT and IT enabled services to North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific Iron Mountain office locations.

The new facility provides worldwide support for Iron Mountain’s technology, infrastructure and business operations, the company said in a release.

As interesting as the concept and operation is, we believe that we are the answer to any corporate or individual's worries on data protection and information storage.”
