Hero MotoCorp, on Tuesday, said it had launched its range of two-wheelers in Guatemala City, El Salvador and Honduras, in partnership with Indy Motos Group of Guatemala, which will sell the products to these markets.

Indy Motos has been appointed as the authorised distributor of the company, and the products will be distributed through a network of outlets spread across these countries, with more outlets to be added subsequently.

“This launch is a significant milestone for us, considering that this is the first of the new international markets where we are starting our operations.

“It is indicative of the significant role that markets in Central America and Latin America will play in our global expansion plans,” Pawan Munjal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said.

Range of two-wheelers

The range of two-wheelers being launched in these markets include the Hunk, Karizma, Glamour, HF Dawn, Splendor NXG, Super Splendor and Achiever.

“Our vision is to provide convenient, fuel-efficient mobility to every customer in this market, and with our wide range of products, we are committed to serving two-wheeler customers across this region,” Mr. Munjal said.

The company will also soon commence its operations in international markets in Latin and Central America and Africa.
