Centrum Direct, an integrated travel related financial services provider, has been awarded the exclusive rights to provide money changing services at the Chennai Airport.
It has on Saturday announced the setting up of eight counters to service passengers travelling through Chennai Airport (six in the international terminal and two in the domestic terminal). The counters will carry a range of products including currency notes, traveller’s cheques and multi- currency prepaid forex cards.
T. C. Guru Prasad, Executive Director and Business Head, told presspersons here on Saturday that Centrum would also offer options for free door-to-door delivery as a value added service.
Centrum’s services would include money changing, travel cards, international phone cards, travel insurance as well as leisure travel packages. In foreign exchange services Centrum Direct was the second largest player pan India with a turnover exceeding Rs. 3,000 crore, Mr. Guru Prasad said.
