Anil Bhandari on Tuesday took over as the Director (Exploration) of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Videsh Ltd (OVL). He will be responsible for managing overseas exploration assets, opportunity evaluation and spearheading the business development process for new acquisitions of both exploration and producing assets, the company said in a statement here.
Prior to joining the OVL Board, he led the operations in Sudan as the Executive Director and Country Manager. An M.Tech in Applied Geology and a Ph.D from the Department of Geology of Rajasthan University, Bhandari is a proficient geologist. Having joined ONGC in 1979 in Assam, he has 34 years of experience in geosciences, management and R&D.
