Aurobindo Pharma USA on Tuesday announced that it was voluntarily recalling a product lot of its epilepsy drug, Gabapentin capsules, after the lot was found to contain some empty capsules.

Empty capsules could result in missed dose(s) of Gabapentin, which is used in the treatment of epilepsy and for the management of postherpetic neuralgia (pain after shingles), resulting in adverse health consequences, the company said in a release.
