The audio of Annapackiam Films' “Kadhalai Kadhalikiraen” was released recently. Produced by C. P. Sivakumar and directed by Sridhar, the film has songs composed by Kalairaja.

The story revolves around people living in the hills where they lack even basic necessities. For the first time, the director has cast nearly 65 new faces, including the hero Kalaiselvan and heroine Anjali Joy. The shooting was held at Maraiyoor, near Moonar. Sridhar has not only directed the film but also acted as a college professor in it and taken care of the story, screenplay, dialogue and background score.

There are five songs in the album. Three are written by Viveka and the best among them is a duet ‘Vanavillai Thedinaen' rendered by Karthik and Saindhavi. Another good number comes from Saindhavi in ‘Bhoomiyile Pavayarai', while Rita scores with ‘Etho Nadakuthe'.

Director Sridhar has written two songs, one of which, ‘Kadhalai Varainthirunthaen', has been beautifully rendered by Vijay Yesudas. The other one, ‘Kallukadai Pakkathile', is sung by Benny Dayal and Malathi.

“Ambuli”

It was celebration all the way at the audio launch of “Ambuli”. Produced by KTVR Creative Reels and presented by V. Loganathan, the movie is directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan, who have earlier directed “Ore Iravu”. They have also written the story, screenplay and the dialogue.

Parthipan plays an important role in the film which has new faces Ajay, Srijith, Sanam and Jothisha in main roles. The others in the cast are Jagan, Kalairani, “Nan Kadavul” Rajendran, Uma Riyaz and Gokul. “Ambuli” is a 3D film. According to the director, “‘Ambuli' is about four youngsters who go in search of a story, the problems they face and how they overcome them. We have made it as engaging as possible. There is no one playing the villain in the film. Neither does Parthipan have a female partner. The camera is handled by Satish G.”

There are eight songs in the album. One of them is the “Ambuli” theme composed by K.Venkat Prabhu Shankar. It's arranged and programmed by Sam C. S. and conducted by Bhalaji. The same music director has composed two more numbers ‘Mazhaikaadey' written by Nellai Jeyantha and sung by Madhu Balakrishnan. The other one, ‘Aatha Nee Pethaaye' written by the same lyricist, is pleasant to the ear.

‘Happy Farewell Day' is a good number penned by Na. Muthukumar and Pop Shalini, who has also sung it with Benny Dayal, Rashmitha and Priyanka. The music for the song is scored by Mervin Solomon.

The lyrics of Thamarai for ‘Nenjukkulla Yaaru' are like a breath of fresh air — set to tune by Sam C. S., it is sung by Karthick and Chinmayi. The same music director has composed a foot-tapping rock ‘n' roll number. It's sung by Ranjith and Pop Shalini, while the lyrics are by Na. Muthukumar. The lyricist comes up with another fine number ‘Chandirana Sooriyana', scored by Satish and sung by Vijay Prakash. ‘3D Era' is a lovely number, also by Satish and rendered by Naresh Iyer and Blaaze — besides singing it, Blaaze has a hand in writing it with the “Ambuli” team.
