Swaranaada Yatra, a symphony of music maestros, concluded its tour across the State with a final concert in the city on Monday.

The jugalbandi by Nagaraj Rao Havaldar and Vidwan R.S. Nanda Kumar left the audience enraptured. Vocal performances by Pandit Indudhar Nirody and Srividya Girish were also much appreciated.

The concert ended with a mesmerising symphony of 22 tabla maestros from India and abroad. As part of the event, renowned artistes Vidwan R. Satyanarayana and Pt. Nirody were felicitated for their significant contributions to classical music in Karnataka.

Felicitations

Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swami felicitated the artistes at the music concert held at Naada Mantapa at the ashram here.

The event was organised by a brand from the Mysore-based NR Group. It was conducted by Sunaada Art Foundation in association with Chandaayan School of Music, New York.

The tour featured 22 renowned tabla artistes along with four vocalists. The symphony was showcased in six cities — Bangalore, Shimoga, Dharwad, Hospet, Torangal and Mysore, a press release said.
