Desperate parents of an ailing child, and an unsuspecting doctor, are the three lives caught in the whirlwind of conflicting questions of truth, reality and belief. Barff raises many questions; is truth what we all experience together, or do we all have our own different truths? Does truth lead to belief, or is it the belief which constructs the truth? Does truth actually exist, or is it just a manifestation of one’s own belief?

This gripping Hindi thriller by Saurabh Shukla questions truth and belief which takes the protagonist on a journey to find ‘Truth of the other side’.

Director’s quote:

“The Hindu Theatre Fest is an honorable theatre festival in the country and one feels very proud to take part in it. We have already performed Barff at the festival last year in two cities, Bangalore and Hyderabad to a great audience response and are excited to bring it to Chennai this year. For me, this multilayered play is very special and its one aspect which is, it's a Hindi thriller with the visual grandeur which is very rare in the Indian theatre scenario makes it a unique experience for viewers.
