With new censor Board members being appointed by the BJP government, the film industry is divided on whether certain ideologies and beliefs might begin to dictate censorship. Never mind this is not the first time the Board is courting controversy.

The truth may or may not emerge, but the timing of the exit of Leela Samson and others like actor M.K. Raina, film-maker Shaji Karun, script-writer Anjum Rajabali and film critics Shubhra Gupta and Rajeev Masand have created a cloud of suspicion around the BJP government.
