Minerva Punjab won its fourth successive Hero Junior League title, following a 2-0 defeat of Bengaluru FC in the final at the Kalyani Stadium on Wednesday.

India junior internationals Himanshu Jangra and Maheson Singh scored the two second-half goals — both off counter-attacks — to hand BFC its first loss of the campaign at the most inopportune time.

It was also the first time BFC had conceded this season, having scored a whopping 89 times in 12 matches.

The result: Minerva Punjab FC 2 (Himanshu Jangra 48, Tongbram Maheron Singh 65) bt Bengaluru FC 0 .
