BOA chief impressed

The Chief of Army Staff and the president of the Bangladesh Olympic Association, General Md. Abdul Mubeen, was impressed with the ongoing preparations for the Commonwealth Games in the capital.

Following a meeting with the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Suresh Kalmadi, on Monday, General Mubeen expressed his confidence that the preparation and arrangements would reach “a grand finale and resounding success''.

Kalmadi said that the sporting infrastructure, getting ready for the Commonwealth Games, would be a big boost not only for Indian sports, but also for neighbouring countries.
