Teacher held for ‘assaulting’ minor

A teacher, Prem Sagar, working in Keshava Reddy Public School located in the town was taken to task for allegedly misbehaving with a second class girl. According to sources, the girl was not keen on going to school and when parents repeatedly asked her the reason, she informed them about the misbehaviour of the teacher. Parents and relatives of the girl rushed to the school and beat up the teacher. Later, he was handed over to the police, who arrested him, and registered a case against him. - Staff Reporter
