Two killed in accident

Two persons died and three others sustained serious injuries when the jeep in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding lorry near Durshed village of Karimnagar mandal on Sunday.

Police sources said that the electric wire laying labourers from West Bengal were proceeding from Pothkapalli village to Karimnagar in the jeep when the lorry hit their vehicle killing the driver A. Srinivas (38) on the spot. A labourer Chanda Ravi Das succumbed to the injuries on way to Warangal MGM Hospital near Huzurabad. Three other labourers P. Ravi Das, B. Das and A. Taher sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment.
