DMK working president M.K. Stalin on Tuesday said that the continuation of the AIADMK government would not augur well for Tamil Nadu.
“There is no democracy in the government. In fact, there is no Chief Minister and the administration has stagnated. It is very dangerous and there is a doubt whether there is governance at all,” he said in a statement.
Stating that T.N. had become a hub for struggles, he said students and women were organising protests calling for the closure of liquor shops, and farmers were pressing for their demands. “But the State government is not ready to listen to them. The CM is indifferent to their problems and refuses to meet the farmers,” he alleged.
While the Cabinet would normally meet to discuss public issues, in Tamil Nadu, Ministers were meeting to resolve problems within their party and discuss change of leadership, he said.
