Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said the issue of granting Leader of the Opposition (LoP) status to the Congress was before the Lok Sabha Speaker. There were no LoPs during the regimes of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, he added.
