National Conference working president Omar Abdullah on Friday took pot shots at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti over the government formation.
“Mehbooba’s father negotiated the Agenda of Alliance so she must tell us what was wrong with it. Her father was CM 10 months with this agenda (sic),” wrote Mr. Abdullah on the Twitter.
“If all she wanted was the Agenda of Alliance, that was a road map with a six year implementation period so what was the problem with time frame?” asked Mr. Abdullah.
Mr. Abdullah’s tweets comes in the backdrop of BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav on Friday saying “there can be no government with the PDP if there are any fresh demands”, reflecting growing differences between the alliance partners BJP and PDP.
“It seems she didn’t know what she wanted from the Centre and got tripped up because her demands were too vague and her response too erratic,” wrote Mr. Abdullah.
“Watch how Mehbooba Mufti will now try & claim that her party wasn't asking for anything new and how the PM has let down J&K,” he added.
