Two “prime accused” in the rape of a 71-year-old nun in Ranaghat in Nadia district were arrested by West Bengal’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) late on Thursday night. The nun was raped on March 14.
“Acting on prior information we arrested Milan Kumar Sarkar and Wahidul Islam from the Sealdah station,” Special Superintendent of CID Chirantan Nag told journalists here on Friday.
