Flames leaping out of ESAF supermarket at Kalathode, near Thrissur, on Saturday.
A major fire broke out at a supermarket at Kalathode near the city on Saturday evening. Two women suffered burn injuries in the incident.
Fire spread through the first and second floors of the three-storied supermarket run by ESAF (Evangelical Social Action Forum) at Kalathode by 6 p.m. Fire and Rescue personnel managed to douse the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
