Playback singer Vidhu Prathap has brought an Italian delight to Kerala. His latest video album, Nangeli , is out as a fine transcreation of the Italian a cappella, in which music is rendered without the accompaniment of instruments.

Director Lal Jose released the video album featuring Vidhu and his wife Deepthi, which presents the song and dance in a toddy shop, by sharing it on his official page on Facebook.

“Amazing song n classy visuals n what a Nostalgic feel!! So good to see a youthful team bring such exceptional quality in their production n certainly a team to lookout for and I’m proud for them n wish their venture all success..,” he wrote.

Besides rendering the song, Vidhu has also given a vocal ‘BGM’ (background music) for the song. Manu Ramesan, who has scored the music for the song, has adapted the A Cappella style and made it appear like an Indian folksong.

Manu’s father and lyricist Ramesan Nair has penned the lyrics for the song, while cinematographer S. Kumar’s son Kunjunni filmed and directed the video. T.R. Sreejith is the choreographer.
