The former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said that the incomplete report of the Lokayukta was the root cause for the political turmoil and the related developments in the State now.

He was speaking to presspersons at the Hubli airport on Tuesday after his return from Nagpur where he and Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda met BJP president Nitin Gadkari. “There is no illegal mining in Karnataka. We had entrusted the task of inquiring into the issue to the Lokayukta. However, the Lokyaukta submitted an incomplete report, which is the root cause for all the trouble,” he said.

Mr. Yeddyurappa said that all developments following the incomplete Lokayukta report and other political issues concerning the State were discussed during the meeting.
