Three-day dance fest in Shivamogga from Friday

The seventh edition of ‘Natyaradhana’, a national-level dance festival organised by Sahachethana Natyalaya, will be held at Kuvempu Rangamandir in the city from Friday to Sunday.

On Friday, students of Sahachethana Natyalaya will present a dance drama titled ‘Laasya Vardhini’. Danseuse Sahana Prabhu will present a solo recital titled ‘Muraliyana’ on Saturday. The Gowdiya dance of West Bengal will be performed by artist Mahua Mukerjee and troupe on Sunday. There will also be a demonstration of ‘Huyen Langlon’, a Manipur-based martial art, by the Ibudou Loyalakpa dance troupe on day three of the fest. On all three days, the performances will begin at 6.30 p.m.
