From the picture released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan of the Indian drone purportedly shot down near the Line of Control (LOC) the drone seems to be a Chinese made DJI Phantom 3 commercial quadcopter, military officials said.

Responding to allegations by Pakistan, Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar on Thursday mentioned that Indian armed forces do not operate any such drones. “The photograph of the drone in question indicates that it is not of Indian design, nor of any UAV category held in the inventory of the Indian armed forces. It appears to be of Chinese design, and is commercially available off the shelf,” Mr. Jaishankar told the media on Thursday.
