Describing the situation in Syria as “critical”, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on Tuesday hoped the clouds of war on the country will blow away.
Speaking to newspersons, Mr. Khurshid feared that Indian lines of credit and various investments would come under a question if there was a war-like situation.
At the same time, he admitted there wasn't much India could do directly. “We are keeping ourselves informed so that at least Indian lives will not be in danger,” he observed.
