‘Smugglers will be brought to book’

Plundering of red sanders from the Seshachalam forest range will be checked with an iron hand, Inspector-General of Police (Rayalaseema) V.V. Gopalakrishna said on Sunday. Those looting the forest wealth would be brought to book, the IG said after inspecting Railway Kodur police station, along with SP Navin Gulati. Intensive round-the-clock combing operations were in full swing in Seshachalam forest in Kadapa and Chittoor districts, he said.
