Naidu urged to implement loan waiver in toto

The ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh has a responsibility to take the legislature and people into confidence on the implementation of loan waiver scheme, said Dr. C. Ramachandraiah, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council here on Monday.

When the Telugu Desam included these promises in the election manifesto and came to power, every one expected that the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu would append his first signature on the loan waiver file but he merely constituted a committee on it, he said.
