In a hit-and-run accident, four Chenchu tribals were killed and six others injured when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by an unknown vehicle between Pedda Mantanala and Dornala in Prakasam District late on Friday night.
The tribal people were returning after taking part in a tribal festival at Pedda Mantanala temple when the mishap occurred, Dornala sub-inspector Y. Nagaraju said. The injured were rushed to the Markapur Government Hospital.
