The CPI (M) on Wednesday demanded the immediate release of 23 fishermen from Tamil Nadu, who have been jailed in Sri Lanka.
In a statement, State Secretary G. Ramakrishnan said that the Centre should hold talks with the Sri Lankan government and find a permanent solution to the problem.
