The 13th edition of The Hindu Metroplus Lifestyle Show 2016 was inaugurated on June 3. Hanbae Park, Vice-President, and CE Business Head, South Region, Samsung, inaugurated the expo.

The exhibition features an array of home and lifestyle products and services under one roof.

Sponsored by Samsung and powered by Tiago from Tata Motors, the Lifestyle Expo and Sale has over 400 stalls, spread across 12,000 sq. m. Brands such as Samsung, Carrier, LG, Philips, Preeti, Godrej, Luxe and Glen are showcasing some of their products and services in various segments - home, garden, daily wear, holiday, games and gadgets.

The featured stalls comprise consumer electronics, home appliances, furniture, luxury decor and interior furnishings, kitchen accessories, bathroom fittings, arts and handicrafts, automobiles and accessories, fashion, beauty and health products, jewellery and hair accessories, computer and IT products et al.

With World Environment Day (June 5) approaching, the National Jute Board (NJB) has associated with The Hindu MetroPlus LifeStyle Expo to promote green awareness among the visitors through a variety of jute products. The Jute Pavilion, the highlight of the latest edition, features a string of jute lifestyle products like wall decorations, jute moulded products, floor mattings, jewellery, handbags and more.

The Lifestyle Expo is co-sponsored by Vijay Electronics and Aachi Masala and conceptualised by I Ads and Events.

The expo is open from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., until June 6, at the Chennai Trade Centre, The entry fee is Rs. 50 per person.
