The Hindu in association with Essar Group will be jointly organising a plantation drive on Tuesday at Zilla Parishad High School, Chandrampalem, Madhurawada, on the occasion of World Environment Day.
The Hindu and Essar have been organising the plantation drive on the occasion for the last few years to create awareness on how to safeguard the environment.
In tune with this year’s theme ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’, plantation drive has been taken up at the school.
Rahul Dev Sharma, Superintendent of Police, will participate.
