Quality circle chapter opened in city

The Visakhapatnam chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) was inaugurated at Dwarakanagar by RINL Director (personnel) G.B.S. Prasad on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the efforts of QCFI in propagating quality concepts in industry in and around the city and complimented the QCFI Council and past members for their continuous support to the industry and bringing up the chapter to this level of acquiring own office premises.

The new office will conduct training programmes to help the industry in reducing cost and improving productivity and enhancing employee involvement. Visakhapatnam chapter was formed in 2001. Since then the chapter has been conducting various training programmes and propagating activities on Quality Circles and 5S.
