Along with the ongoing Reconnection Mela the BSNL Visakhapatnam Telecom District proposes to hold its monthly Customer Meet on August 27 between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Senior officers of the BSNL, including accounts and legal, would be present at the designated telephone exchanges to ensure that the customer grievances are addressed on the spot. However, this meet would not cover the issues raised by franchises or public telephones.
Customers whose grievances like delay in shifting of telephone, delay in provision of new telephone connection and or excess metering complaints which have already been represented but not settled through normal channels can be settled at these meets, Senior General Manager Telecom District P. Nagaraju said in a statement issued here.
Customers from Akkayyapalem, Arilova, Sagar Nagar, CRR, Dabagardens, Gitam, Kirlampudi, Lalithanagar, MVP Colony, Madhurawada, Narasimhanagar, Pandurangapuram and Velampeta telephone exchange areas are expected to meet the officials at the BSNL New Telephone Exchange building at Seethammadhara.
Customers from Pendurty, NAD, Gopalapatnam and Adivivaram have to meet the officials at Telephone Exchange in Industrial Estate. Customers from Balacheruvu, Kurmannapalem, Mindi, Pedagantyada, Steel Plant, Malkapuram and Navy Telephone Exchange areas have to go to BSNL Telephone Exchange at Mindi. Customers from all telephone exchange areas in and around Anakapalli, Yellamanchili and Narsipatnam have to go to Telephone exchange Anakapalli.
BSNL customers from Bheemunipatnam, INS Kalinga, Kapuluppada, Tagarapuvalasa, Anandapuram, Revidi, Reddypalli, Santyam exchange areas have to go to BSNL telephone exchange at Bheemunipatnam.
Customers from Chodavaram town area, Chowdivada, Devarapalli, JD Peta, K J Puram, K Kotapadu, Madugula, Ravikamatam, Vaddaadi, Varahapuram, Araku, Anantagiri, G Madugula, Hukumpeta, Munchingput, Paderu and Pedabayalu exchanges can go to telephone exchange at Chodavaram.
Telephone Adalat
The BSNL Telephone Adalat to redress telecom service complaints registered with the BSNL before July 31 will be held at the office of the GM Telecom District at Dabagardens on August 29. Customers are expected to send their petitions to the General Manager, Telecom District, Dabagardens, Visakhapatnam on or before August 25, Senior GMTD P. Nagaraju said in a separate statement.
Complaints from STD/local public telephones would not be taken up at this adalat, he added.
