BHEL gesture to Prema Samajam

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited-Heavy Plate and Vessels Plant on Thursday donated 80 coir beds, equal number of pillows, and 10 sewing machines to Prema Samajam, one of the oldest NGOs in the city. The sewing machines and other materials were handed over to Prema Samajam president K. Ramabrahmam at a simple ceremony here by BHEL Executive Director J. Sankaran. Later, he said they would donate other material, including almirahs, worth Rs.6.80 lakh under corporate social responsibility.

Mr. Sankaran praised the yeoman service being rendered by Prema Samajam to parentless children, aged, and destitute.
