Young World painting contest finals on Sunday

This year’s edition will be held in 15 cities

The Hindu Young World Painting Competition-2014 will be held at NSM Public School in the city on Sunday.

It is an annual event conducted by The Hindu for school students.

This year’s edition will be organised in 15 cities across South India.

Senior category

The competition is an integral part of Newspaper in Education programme of The Hindu which is attracting talented young minds apart from promoting healthy competition among schools.

It is open to students from Classes IV to VII in the junior category and Class VII to Class X in senior category.

Showcasing talent

Participants in the finals have been selected from the entries received and they are given various topics to showcase their talent in painting. The winners will be given certificates by The Hindu .

MIOT Hospitals is the presenting sponsor and Ashok Book Centre, Duhita Dental Clinic, NSM Public School and Swagruha/TWINS are regional sponsors.
