Congress party circles are abuzz with talk about Vellampalli Srinivas and Malladi Vishnu also making an exit from it. Sources close to Mr Srinivas said both the Telugu Desam and the YSRC had invited him.
While the YSRC offered Mr. Srinivas the MLC seat, the Telugu Desam offered him ticket to contest in the Lok Sabha elections. Mr. Vishnu’s supporters said if Mr. Srinivas left the Congress, the former would also leave.
However, Mr. Vishnu will be better off joining the TDP because of his rivalry with YSRC leader and former MLA Vangaveeti Radha Krishna.
