Berger Paints to open academy

Berger Paints India Ltd will set up a training academy for painters in the city. The company has identified some 2,000 sft space for the purpose, its MD and CEO Abhijit Roy said.

He said the academy was the fourth one in a row, adding that training centres were earlier opened in Kochi, Delhi and Kolkata.“Painters need to upgrade skills to match industry requirements. The academy will address these issues,” he said. The company has introduced ‘Express Painting’, a solution to faster painting services, in Kerala and West Bengal.
