Bengaluru-Mangaluru trains to remain off track till Oct. 10

Landslip debris yet to be cleared at some stretches

The Railways has extended cancellation of trains on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru sector till October 10 as landslip debris are yet to be cleared at some stretches of Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat stretch.

Day trains remain cancelled only between Sakleshpur and Mangaluru/Karwar and would run between Yeshwantpur and Sakleshpur, said releases from South Western and Southern Railways.

The trains cancelled are: Train No. 16511/16513 KSR Bengaluru-Kannur/Karwar Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru on September 29, October 3, 4, 5, and 6. Train No. 16517/16523 KSR Bengaluru-Kannur/Karwar Express commencing journey from KSR Bengaluru on September 30, October 1, 2, 7, 8, and 9. Train No. 16512/16514 Kannur/Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey from Kannur/Karwar on September 30, October 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Train No. 16518/16524 Kannur/Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Express commencing journey from Kannur/Karwar on October 4, 5, and 6.

Partially cancelled

Train No. 16575, Yesvantpur-Mangaluru Jn. Express commencing journey on September 30, October 2, 4, 7, and 9 has been partially cancelled between Sakleshpur-Mangaluru Jn. Train No. 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express commencing journey on October 1, 3, 5, 8, and 10 has been partially cancelled between Sakleshpur-Karwar. Train No. 16576 Mangaluru Jn.-Yesvantpur Express commencing journey on October 1, 3, 5, 8, and 10 has been partially cancelled between Mangaluru Jn.-Sakleshpur.

Train No. 16516 Karwar-Yesvantpur Express commencing journey on October 2, 4, 6, and 9 has been partially cancelled between Karwar-Sakleshpur.

Special trains

Train No. 06515 Yesvantpur-Sakleshpur Jan Sadharan Special will run on October 6 with existing timing up to Sakleshpur of Train No. 16515. Train No. 06576 Sakleshpur-Yesvantpur Jan Sadharan Special will run on September 30 and October 7 with existing timing up to Yesvantpur of Train No. 16576.
