Second day of
SI selection
Women aspirants in open category and men and women candidates under departmental category assembled
at the Armed Reserve Ground here on Tuesday for selection for the posts of
Sub-Inspectors of Police. Out of the
147 women in the open category, seven were disqualified
after they underwent physical measurement and endurance test
of 400 metres
run. Among the 121 male candidates
under departmental category, 26 candidates failed
the endurance test.
All the 49 women candidates in this category qualified for the next round of test to be held on Wednesday.
