Free digital content for Interstudents of govt. colleges

A first of its kind in the country

Intermediate students of Government junior colleges will have free access to digital content of their course with the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) launching a Digital Study Kit (DiSK), a first of its kind in the country.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, who launched the DiSK, said that it would be offered in both Telugu and English media. It is available through web and also the App that can be downloaded free of cost, and Government students can access it using their college code and admission number. Once downloaded, content can be used offline as well.

Mr. Srihari said the same content would be offered to private college students at a nominal price of ₹325 per year. DiSK is powered by CloudEdz. Y Sumanth Rao, CEO, CloudEdz, said though the content was available offline, students needed to be online to enjoy 300 hours of video teaching content.

BIE Secretary A. Ashok said DiSK was an application exclusively developed for the Intermediate students of Telangana and all the study material was certified by experts of the BIE. The content is available free of cost for the net 15 days for students to have a feel of it.

He said DiSK was an interactive study tool comprising textbooks, study material, video lessons, assessments and multiple-choice questions that would help students prepare for regular and competitive examinations.
