Surabhi to perform in Paris

Surabhi, a unique theatre group founded 127 years ago, has been invited to perform in the International Festival of Metz and in Paris in May 2013, the Alliance Francaise announced here on Friday. The theatre group is run by 65 members of the same family and is also known as Sri Venkateshwara Natya Mandali.

The group will be staging ‘ Maya Bazaar’ a traditional play in Telugu in Public Gardens in Nampally on Saturday at 5.30 p.m. This would be a fund raising show prior to their tour to France. Donor passes are available at the Alliance Française main centre, Road No.3, Banjara Hills and also at the venue before the show.
