The Secunderabad Public School organised events to commemorate the ‘World Consumer Awareness Day' on December 23.
A campaign by the students in the assembly and a street play about the details one has to keep in mind while making purchases were highlights of the event.
Later, the students took out a silent procession in West Marredpally, distributing pamphlets.
Jubilee Hills Public School
The Jubilee Hills Public School conducted a special assembly to mark the Christmas Day when students sang carols, danced and spoke about the birth of Jesus Christ. Some students dressed up as Santa Claus and distributed chocolates.
The school also celebrated ‘Math Day' to mark the birthday of legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on December 22.
A special assembly was held and students performed skits to show the importance of mathematics in daily life.
Jain Heritage International School
The Pre-Primary wing of the Jain Heritage International School conducted an inter-school competition for its toddlers between 1.5 and 5.5 years of age in its premises at Kondapur.
The competition was held in four categories namely ‘Well Baby Show', ‘Fancy Dress', ‘Rhymes Recitation', and ‘Story Telling'.
Toddlers dressed in a variety of outfits captivated the audience.
