Miranda House of Delhi University has organised a special three-day certificate workshop on consumer affairs aimed at turning young students into smart consumers.

At the inaugural session on Tuesday, Prof. Sri Ram Khanna explained that comparative testing of consumer products helps empower the consumer.

Dr. Jayashree Pillai, course coordinator and TULA convenor, underlined the need for being careful and vigilant while buying goods and services.

The day’s highlight was a road show focusing on consumer issues. Students also performed a nukkad natak at Vishwavidyalaya metro railway station.
