The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared results for Class XII this year and for the fourth year in a row, the topper is a Delhi student.
Sukriti Gupta from Montfort School in Ashok Vihar, the topper, scored 497 marks out of 500. At second position is Palak Goel from Kurukshetra, Haryana with 496 marks.
In the differently-abled category, Mudita Jagota, a student from Faridabad is the topper.
According to CBSE officials, the pass percentage this year has increased by a marginal 1.05 per cent as compared to last year's 82 per cent. In terms of pass percentage, girls (88.58) performed better than boys (78.85) this time.
Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai lead the way
Thiruvananthapuram region has the highest overall pass percentage at 97.61 percent, followed by Chennai.
Apart from the CBSE website, students can also check their results on the mobile app Digiresults.
For the first time this year, the board has also made mark sheets available online on a Digilocker platform, the password for which will be provided to the students by the Board.
