Twenty five young entrepreneurs from the country will participate at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit (G 20 YES) to be held in France from October 31 to November 2.
The team will be led by Rahul Mirchandani, National Chair of Next Practices and International Relations- Young Indians (Yi) and Shankar Vanavarayar, National Chairman of Young Indians. About 400 entrepreneurs from the leading developed and developing countries and all aged between 18 and 45 will participate at the three-day summit at Nice, France.
Mr. Vanavarayar told presspersons here on Tuesday that the focus would be on job creation through entrepreneurship and how to make the entrepreneurial eco-system better in any country. “Engagement of the Indian delegation in the meeting will be high, with members moderating panel discussion, and making presentations,” he said. India would host the interim meeting of G 20 YES on January 11 and 12 next year.
Annush Ramasamy, Chair of Yi – Coimbatore, said the summit would help the entrepreneurs' network, bring best practices from other countries to Indian industries and advocate their views to the larger G20. Concepts such as non-migratory job creation despite cost factors would be presented by the Indian delegation.
The team had representatives from almost all sectors and there were successful models of job creation in the country.
Arjun Prakash, former Chairman of Yi-Coimbatore, added that Yi was the organisation representing India at the summit this year. The meeting would explore how entrepreneurs, especially those in the micro, small and medium-scale enterprises, would be able to create more jobs worldwide.
