Naadhabrahmam will honour the following veterans on the inaugural day of its 13th year art festival, to be held from December 13, 2014, to January 1, 2015, at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School, TAG Auditorium, Dhandapani Street, T. Nagar. Veteran M. Balamuralikrishna will present the inaugural concert followed by the award function. T.V. Gopalakrishnan will be honoured with ‘Naada Kovida’ award; Krishnakumari Narendran – ‘Nrithya Kovida’; Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi – ‘Naada Sevika’ and Zakir Hussain with the ‘Nrithya Sevaka.’
The felicitation is by V.P. Dhananjayan. This will be followed by Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi’s violin concert at 7 p.m.
